Opening hours

Opening hours of the Jagiellonian Library in July-September 2017:

The Library will be open in the regular hours through 15th July

  • 17th 29th July - a single shift only alternately:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2pm - 8.50pm
    • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - 8.15am - 3pm
  • 31st July - 15th August - the Library will be closed
  • 16th August - 2nd September - 8.15am - 3pm, selected Library services on weekdays only
  • From 4th September - open as usual 8.15am - 8.50pm

Circulation Desk:

  • Monday - 10am - 8pm
  • Tuesday - Friday - 9am - 8pm
  • Saturday - 9am - 3.30pm

Interlibrary Loan:

  • Monday - 4pm - 7pm
  • Tuesday - Friday - 11am - 2pm

Catalogues, Main Reading Room (Lectorium)Large-Format Newspapers Reading Room, Researchers' Reading Room, European Reading Room, Reference Department Reading Room, Audiovisual Reading Room, Current Journals Reading Room:

  • Monday - Friday - 8.15am - 8.50pm
  • Saturday - 9am - 4pm

Manuscripts and Early Printed Books Reading Rooms:

  • Monday - Friday - 10am - 7pm
  • Saturday - closed

Requests are processed from Monday to Friday from 10 through 14.30. The requests submitted after 14.30 will be processed by the next day.


Graphics and Maps Room, Music Collection, Rara and Ephemera Room:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 9am - 3pm
  • Wednesday - 12am - 7pm

Requests are processed from Monday to Friday from 10 through 14.30. The requests submitted after 14.30 will be processed by the next day.


Library Administration - Monday - Friday - 8am - 3pm

Pickup of requested copies from the reprographic services - Monday - Friday - 10am - 1.30pm
